Debasree Das’s work is like an intricately woven story, as she depicts a childhood with both bitter and sweet moments as a part of growing up. She has used a varied range of mediums like acrylic, applique, and hand embroidery on silk and canvas to bring forth the multiple layers of memories, as they are fleeting and ephemeral at the same time but imprinted clearly on our minds. This work is laden with very naturalistic studies of flora, making it visually enriching.
