Trapped in a maze of ghostly nets, the lone character represents lost tales in "Abandon" as they perch atop an antiquated boat. Stretching endlessly, the vividly coloured vegetation scattered across the deep blue water reflects a sky where the boundaries between dreams and reality are hazy. Relics from a bygone period and scattered clay jars float around like spectral memories of past customs. In Dutta's hands, the banal becomes magical, a journey where loneliness mingles with the ruins of civilization to produce a tale that is both ethereally beautiful and bizarre.
