Senaka Senanayake's "Paradise Garden" is a vibrant celebration of nature's splendour, as it features hummingbirds and butterflies amidst a profusion of tropical flora, their colours and delicate forms symbolising the harmony and diversity of the natural world. Senanayake's oil on canvas brings each element to life, creating movement and vitality. Having grown up in Sri Lanka, he was drawn to the wilderness and wildlife from a young age, often travelling with his family to see the magnificent animals and birds that inhabited the depths of the woods, making the distance intimate and portraying the beauty and interconnectedness of life.
