Ochre, jade, plum, and gold stack in rhythm, echoing the layered life of streets, markets, and windows seen across the world. The artist gathers these shades like souvenirs, stitching them into a place both imagined and real. In this work, color becomes language—a way to hold the feeling of elsewhere, and to honor the many cities that have shaped her way of seeing.
