Centered on nine golden panels, each featuring the serene visage of Vishnu, the artwork echoes the artist’s pilgrim sketches and devotion. The white U‑shaped tilaka traces his temple visit drawings, while the crimson mark evokes the Carnatic singer Subhalaxmi’s chanting rhythms that reverbated in the background during its creation. Elaborate headgear motifs appear in ochre, cool blue, and earth brown—symbolising dawn visits, sunlight prayers, and dusk reflections. The grid’s repetition mirrors the 360 recitals he attended, embodying energy and a circle of blessings. Through these interconnected repetitions, the artist shares his bond with Vishnu’s names.
