Artist Shabir Hussain Santosh’s works speak of the valley of Kashmir in a very true sense, as he has been greatly inspired by its beauty. His semi-abstract works are layered at the same time and possess an ephemeral quality, which holistically exudes the feeling and emotion of serenity and calm. One may find a dominant colour slowly transitioning throughout the composition, while the subtle introduction of yellows makes the work even more vibrant.
