recreates an expression of Banaras as a city that rises up from the riverfront.
Pennant-topped spires keep company to the myriad stairs that connect the lanes
and by-lanes of the ancient city while trees provide pilgrims with shade and
boats carry them over the river where they perform ablutions to help them
bridge the gap that exists between heaven and earth.
