This composition is flowy and with weightless figures floating all over the surface rhythmically. The various circular flowering motifs complement the vertical figures, while the use of analogous colours creates a sense of contrast very subtly. The figures have an archetypal aura about them and they’re rendered in a clean decisive manner, here everything is subordinate to patterning, reminiscent of the French art nouveau tradition.
