The composition needs active viewing as there is an interplay of various elements and drama evoked by the colour palette. This work by Shanti Dave carries a resemblance to the remnants or survivors of ruins from bygone times. Like hieroglyphics, they demand attention to unravel the visual codes where forms and layers create areas of ingenuity and conversation.
