Vasudha Tewari Broota is a renowned Indian artist and painter from Kolkata, born in 1955. She obtained a Bachelor's degree in Literature from the University of Delhi and a degree in Fine Art from Triveni Kala Sangam in New Delhi. Her works are highly acclaimed for their sensitive mix of media. Her pieces are often evocative and intense, oscillating between realism and semi-realism.
Her images tend to centralize the perception of a woman and the socio-political existence of the female body. Her paintings have acknowledgments from several renowned organizations. Her creations are a part of various public and private collections.
