Mahula Ghosh Indian, b. 1973
Born in 1973 in Siliguri, West Bengal, Mahula Ghosh is an artist whose work captures the dynamism and ephemerality of life. Mahula received her Bachelors's and Master's degrees in Fine arts from Kala Bhavan, Shantiniketan, in years 1989 and 1996, respectively.
Ghosh's works are multimedia compositions with a subdued and chalky colour palette, an introduction to applique work, and patchwork. An amalgamation of these techniques adds to her distinctive visual language. Ghosh's work captures the essence of life in motion.
She's had one solo exhibition and ten group exhibitions. She exclusively only displays her work in India.
