Born in Patna in 1964, Neeraj Goswami's painterly journey starts within his daily deep meditative state. His palette portrays a unique tradition in Indian art in which spiritual feeling predominates. His practice deals with and explores several conflicts, be it the polar duality of tradition and modernity or that of humans and the environment. His semi-geometric compositions often follow a smooth textured cool colour palette.
Neeraj Goswami is in the vanguard of Indian contemporary art, and both domestically and internationally, many prestigious collections feature his works.
