Overview
Sanchit Art presents 'Kala Sutra'- Diversity/Continuity/Context. - a group show that celebrates the essential thread of aesthetic foundation that runs through the art of India in various eras. Featuring the works of twelve renowned artists, this exhibition brings together a diverse range of visual art from across the globe.
The show traces the continuity of this thread, exploring the independent flowering of art that transcends geographic boundaries. From the floral-infused paintings of Senaka Senanayake to the spiritual works of Neeraj Goswami, this show captures the unique visual qualities of each artist. Paul Klee’s famous simile of a tree is also reflected in this show - with each artist’s art rooted in nature, yet growing beyond it. 'Kala-Sutra' is an exploration of the visual and spiritual power of art, and celebrates its continuity across the ages at The Arts House, 1 Old Parliament Lane, Singapore.
