This work by Deveshi Goswami have a cooler colour scheme balancing out beautifully with a warm background if imbued with subtlety and freshness; the textured surface is a language of its own and communicates the very fragmented nature of thoughts as they keep on fluctuating in our subconscious mind. At the same time, the abstracted forms are clear and drawn with precision, as if the artist is mapping the dreamy absurdities and concretizing what is fleeting and ephemeral. Deveshi, with her distinct visual idiom, unravels the psychological and inner complexities.
