Showing people from rural India, there has been an emphasis on their attire with careful use of vermilions and green. The deeply hued bodies against the light background with the hint of architectural elements in it make it a balanced composition. The spontaneity does not compromise Bhattacharaya’s keen eye for details; the movement, bodily gestures, and even the subtle tonal variation of skin colour have been captured prolifically.
