Overview
Tripolar Articulation, presented by Sanchit Art, is an incredible group show that brings together three of the most celebrated modern Indian artists - M.F. Husain, Thota Vaikuntam and Neeraj Goswami.
Curated by Arun Ghose, this show explores the three essential aspects of art in life in the sub-continent through their works. Husain's art revolves around his own realisation of myth in classical tales; Vaikuntam traces the strange juxtaposition of myth as filtered down in the rural continuity of folk culture in India; and Neeraj, the youngest of the three, explores the same myth but felt and ingested in a spiritual plane. Experience the visual expression of Indian classical mythology in the modern context and discover the power of art in Tripolar Articulation.
