Works by grandmaster Jogen Chowdhury, considered to be one of the most prolific painters of the 21st century, captures India’s history with exquisite line work of human figures. Fans of realism may enjoy works by Sanjay Bhattacharya, known for his realist portraits of houses and families, vividly capturing the essence of India. Abstract lovers may seek out Paresh Maity, whose expert use of various mediums including water colour and oil saw his works displayed in the British Museum in London and Rubin Museum of Art in New York. Other anticipated artists include the award-winning muralist, sculptor, and portrait painter Neeraj Goswami and Jayasri Burman, whose mythical works are sure to enchant.
This will be Kala Sutra’s 10th installation, where the best of contemporary Indian art may be viewed, right here in Singapore.
