When I
read about the thousand names of Vishnu by Eknath Eshwaran, I was intrigued
and reached for the Vishnu Sahastranama. After hearing Subhalashmi recite it,
I immersed myself into painting the energy and the different vibrations of a
thousand names.

This panel is part of an immersive work that surrounds you, it is composed
of 360 smaller units to signify the lord's omni presence in 360 degrees. It
was done almost in a trance. I worked for three weeks round the clock with
very little sleep or food!

An incredible, cherished experience, here I am at my best as a colourist.
