Bhagat Singh (b. 1965) is a contemporary Indian artist known for his richly stylised paintings inspired by Indian folk art, miniature painting traditions, and mural culture, particularly the influence of renowned artist A. Ramachandran. He completed his Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) and Master of Fine Arts (MFA) from Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi.

 

His artworks are recognised for their fantastical imagery, vibrant colour palette, and layered compositions that celebrate the beauty of nature and reflect a deep concern for the environment. Through expressive forms, intricate textures, and decorative detailing, Bhagat Singh creates immersive visual worlds that blend imagination with cultural influences.

 

Known for his mastery of stylisation, his paintings combine contemporary aesthetics with traditional Indian artistic traditions, resulting in compositions that feel both lyrical and visually dynamic.

 

Bhagat Singh has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions across India and has received critical recognition for his distinctive contribution to contemporary Indian art
