Memory and Metaphor are two poles between which human imagination ocillates. History, archaeology and anthropology are the zones of our knowledge systems where memory plays central role. Where as in the aesthetics of culture thru its arts and literature, the role of metaphor is important. These two works represents the tension of an Image, located between the status of being "speciman" and "artifact". The struggle between the memory and the space of its thought where the probability of its metaphor resides.
