Born in 1962, a graduate of Delhi's College of Art, Shabir Hussain got exposed to a world of creativity, painting, and poetry at an early age. His works are perceptive and free-flowing. The monochromatic colour scheme and amorphous motifs of humans, birds, and trees are worth noticing. The mystical landscape of the valley of Kashmir which are native to him, serves as inspiration to create these motifs and paintings.
Shabir Hussain has been part of several public and private collections.
